Abstract
This study examined the relationship between employee job satisfaction and organizational productivity in Dangote cement in Rivers State. The total population for the study consisted of 198 employees. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey design, simple random sampling methods were used. A total of 108 copies of questionnaires were administered to the respondents, simple percentage and chi-square (x2) was used as a statistical tool to analyze the research question and hypotheses. The study revealed that there is a significant relationship between employee recognition and organizational performance. The study concluded that there should be respected treatment of employees at all levels adequate compensation and pay, overall benefits, job security, trust between employees and senior management, financial stability of the organization. The study recommends that the management should continue as a matter of policy grant their employee salary increase from time to time since this is what motivates them more to performance....
