Abstract
Many areas are to be touched on in this research such as knowing the percentage of sodium and oxygen (Na and O2) in the commercial Parazone and commercial Jik. The scope is also expected to cover some suggestions and advice to the user and suggestions by buyers of bleaching agents. The aims of this research work are: To determine the percentage of chlorine in commercial Parazone and commercial Jik. This research basically intends to systematically examine or determine the available chlorine, PH level I commercial Parazone and Jik. And also to help the communities to know the most effective one. This research will make an attempt to reveal the role played by the relevant aspect of the product of this reagent (Parazone and Jik) in addition to decisions as they affect the consumers and how they are carried out into actual operation. Two commercial bleaching agents, Parazone and Jik were compared to determine the percentage of available chlorine and ph level. Quantitative tests were carried out percentage of chlorine available in Parazone was found to be 8.09% while that of jik was 5.8%. In the case of ph level that of Parazone was 6.5% while was 5.5 from above result, Parazone was found to be more effective in bleaching than Jik. ...
