A total of hundred (100) questionnaires were administered to the respondents and data collected was analysed using simple percentage. The findings of the study revealed that the majority of the respondents 49% believed that the socio-economic status of parents affects the enrolment of chemistry students in the study area. The research also revealed that 60% indicated that peer groups have a positive influence on students enrolment in the study area. The research work revealed that the majority of the respondents 45% indicated that students’ perception of chemistry subject influences the student enrolment of students in the study area. The research also revealed that the majority of the respondents 69% believed that student background in chemistry affects the enrolment of students in the study area. The study also revealed that 70% believed that social values affect student enrolment in the study area.
