Agricultural cooperatives are cooperative societies that engage in the production, processing, marketing, and distribution of agricultural products. The population of this study consists of 92 members of the Akokwa Agricultural cooperative society in Ideato North L.G.A. of Imo State. The sample size of this study was drawn by a simple random sample which was calculated using the“Taro Yamane formula”. Review of related literature was carried out to examine the contributions of various authors on this subject matter. Questionnaires were designed and distributed, while some members of the society were interviewed. Thereafter, the responses obtained through the questionnaires were analyzed using tables, frequencies and percentages.
