Abstract
From what has been discussed so far, and the values obtained during the experiments carried out on this project. The effect of satisfaction which is“ the process of improving the engineering properties of the soil and making the soil more stable for construction.” These properties which include permeability compressibility etc were overcome by the additive used in mixing and compacting the soil adequately, cement and lime prove to be the most effective stabilizing agent for lateritic soils used in the project. The effect of stabilization is required to increase the shear strength and bearing capacity of foundations soils. The main use of stabilization is to improve the natural soil for the construction of highways and airfield construction. So in order to limit the various and constant failures experience in Nigerian roads and Nigerian Airfields, there is a great need for stabilizing the soil and aggregates in the construction of road bases and sub-baases....
