The objectives were to find out if Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) influenced the staff of Uyo City Polytechnic to ascertain the types of Information and Communication Technology facilities they have access to and are exposed to. To also find out whether they use these facilities in the performance of their duties. To find out if these facilities enhance their performance. Four research questions were formulated. The method of the research was the Survey Method Cluster Sampling Technique was used to pick all 311 (100%) respondents staff. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentages. The findings revealed that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) impact, promote, and also influence the staff of Uyo City Polytechnic (positively and efficiently). Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) have enhanced the performance of their duty. It was concluded that Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) played a vital role in Academic practice by significantly enhancing their practice through the improvement of their productivity and making the practice more effective.
