It also informed the health care providers on the impact of electronic medical records on improving patients' time in the hospital. Among the objectives is to evaluate the utilization of the EMR system in Federal Medical Center Asaba. Furthermore, to determine the benefits of the EMR system in Federal Medical Center Asaba and to determine the patient waiting time in using the EMR system in Federal Medical Center Asaba. Many medical and allied works of literature were reviewed to develop more facts for the project work. This research use descriptive survey to sample 100 out of 100 population of the staff of Federal Medical Center, Asaba. Questionnaire was the instrument used to gather and analyze the data, 100 questionnaires were distributed out of which 80 were retrieved. In conclusion, it gathered that most of the respondents believe that Electronic Medical Records have a positive impact on patient waiting time in the healthcare delivery system, especially in FMC Asaba, Delta State.
