The study applied the application of percentage and bar chat to analyze the data obtained from the administered questionnaires. This revealed that table 4.1 above indicates that 37.73% of the respondents are male while 62.26% are female this shows that female students participate more in this study and it indicates that they show more interest in skills acquisition than the male student. Table 4.2 above indicated that 26.41% of the respondents has not acquired any skills before while 73.58% of the respondents that took part in this study has been involved in skills acquisition before and this indicates that the information’s obtained are adequate, reliable and more useful since most the student that participated in this study have had experiences in the area study. Table 4.3 indicates that 11.32% of the respondents prefer hairdressing/designing skills while 15.09% prefer make–up and 16.98% prefer fashion designing, including both males and females. This result implies that the leading and most trending skills that students often acquired are Hairdressing/styling, Makeup and Fashion designing.
