Descriptive research method was used in this study with questionnaires as instruments for data collection. The population of the study is of sixteen (16) which consists of all the staff in the publisher. Also, the data collected were analyzed using frequency count and percentages. The findings of this study revealed that a lot of challenges are facing indigenous publishing which include lack of trained personnel, inadequate manpower, lack of funding, poor power supply, lack of distribution channels e.t.c.
