Using a descriptive approach from primary data obtained through focused group discussion, questionnaires and personal observations and in some case, in-depth interviews, a relationship between Cyber Café/business centers and economic growth was established. The chi-square technique was used to test the null hypothesis which stated that Cyber Café/business centers have no positive impact on economic growth in Okuku Township. The hypothesis was however rejected. Consequently, the research study concluded that Cyber Café and business centers possess the potential for enhancing economic growth in the study area. From the analysis of the information gathered in the field, it became clear that Cyber Café and business center operators face quite a number of problems but the major ones remain inadequate power supply and multiple taxations.
