Abstract
The study sought to investigate the relationship between management styles and the productivity of teachers in Babura local government area secondary schools of Jigawa state. The study was carried out in five (5) randomly selected secondary schools in Babura local government area of Jigawa state. Using random sampling technique, five schools were selected out of nine schools in the area. A total of forty (40) teachers randomly selected were served a researcher-designed questionnaire. The research questions guided the study. The data were analyzed using frequency count and percentage scores. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between management styles and teachers' productivity. It was thus recommended that principals should be properly trained in educational management on how to use appropriate management styles at appropriate periods on their teachers for productivity, efficiency and effective performance in schools....
