It has constituted a serious health problem among the people of Oshiegbe community as a result of the lack of some facilities including sanitary conveniences. The core objective of this project is to find out the health effect of poor housing among the people in a bid to proffer solutions to it. The study design used was descriptive research design which was chosen due to the nature of the research work. 150 questionnaires were distributed among the people of the study area and 137 questionnaires were retrieved after completion which were used as the sample size, In determining the size, a stratified sample technique was adopted in selecting the population study. Questionnaires, observations and interviews were used as the basic instruments for data collection. Responses from the questionnaire were presented and analyzed using simple percentage and statistical tools. The research findings unveiled that there is an increase in the proliferation of diseases, and physical and psychological problems due to the existence of poor housing in the area.
