Abstract
This research work is titled“Conflict resolution as a tool for effective management organization (a study of population communication of Taraba State)”. To carry out the research successfully, to identify the causes of conflict in an organization, to investigate the impact of conflict on organization performance, and to proffer possible solutions to conflict in an organization. To successfully carry out this research, three questions will be formulated and structured questionnaires was designed based on the research questions with a five-point scale as an instrument for data analysis. The survey design was adopted and the population of the study was 220 respondents with 50 sample sizes used. The method of data analysis was arithmetic mean which was used as statistical tools such as means for data analysis. Method of data collection, questionnaires were administered to the respondents and retrieved after completion personally by the researcher. At the completion of the work, the researcher made the following recommendations the management should be sensitive to conflicts and set up effective communication channels to facilitate an improvement in conflict management. The connection between employees and top management is because of the impact it has on the effectiveness of conflict management strategies, population commission management should encourage the use of third-party intervention as a form of conflict management strategy. The intervening party must maintain a neutral attitude to avoid exacerbating the problem....
