A case study of Ethnic Restaurant Katsina metropolis aims at assessing the impact of family roles and female employee’s job performance in an ethnic restaurant, and also, to determine the areas of conflict between family roles and job performance of female employees in an ethnic restaurant. The methodology of this research work is cross-sectional survey method with the administration of questionnaires, the sampling technique used for conducting this research work is stratified sampling. The findings show that for women to perform well, be committed and stay long in the ethnic restaurant there is a need for the organization to have in place a work environment that supports the women and which are family-friendly, The conclusion is that work-family role conflict is strongly related to low performance among female in an ethnic restaurant.
