The effect of preservation and conservation of health records was discussed and assessed in the new millennium and the way forward, this research is carryout in other to enlighten the health records managers about the use of computer systems in the new millennium and how to introduce them and their usefulness. This research shows the significance of computer system for the effective and accessible form of computer to the health sector. The survey method was adopted in this study in other to click real objective information. Simple random sampling was adopted in sampling technique on the selected area. In the presentation of data percentage table was used in analyzing the data generated from the study. It reviews that electronic health record is a great important tool in health information management in other to access medical service/performance in this automated era. Recommendation is that government should always provide forms, encourage the use of electronic health records and provision of necessary tools needed for the development of the department and national health large. In conclusion, health record practitioners should try to update themselves on the use of electronic health records in other to distract their duty more effectively.
