A Case study of operational base health centre and model health centre in Ibesikpo LGA). The broad objective of this research work is to assess the service delivery by healthcare professionals in primary health Care facilities. To achieve the stated objective total enumeration was used to select eighty(80) staff including patients. The instrument used was well structured questionnaire which were distributed to two primary healthcare facilities in Ibesikpo LGA .though the frequency table with percentage and chi–square test were used to analyze the respondents' opinion. The finding shows that 68(89.04,%) agreed that healthcare professionals has a significant relationship between the quality of treatment provided to the patient in primary healthcare facilities while 8(10.96%) disagreed. 68(93.05%) agreed that funding constraint and ineffective management by healthcare professionals has a significant effect in primary healthcare facilities while 5(6.90%) disagreed. Finally, the results revealed that the majority of the respondent agreed that there is a significant relationship between the qualities of treatment provided by healthcare professionals in primary healthcare facilities in Ibesikpo LGA. And the researcher recommended that healthcare professionals should manage their resources effectively and in a more efficient way, the government should provide adequate funding to primary healthcare facilities, equip the facilities and also train their staff to improve service delivery.
