Abstract
This study is to evaluate the impact of out-of-home advertising in marketing the religious programmes in Port Harcourt, this is aimed at finding how out-of-home advertising in marketing the religious programmes impact positively on the life of the public in Port Harcourt. The study had specific objectives which are“to ascertain the impact of out-of-home advertising in marketing the religious programmes in Port Harcourt, to examine the effectiveness of out-of-home advertising in marketing religious programmes in Port Harcourt and determine the nature of the impact of out-of-home advertising awareness of religious programmes in Port Harcourt. In carrying out the study the researcher used survey design method, while questionnaires were the instrument of the study. Simple tables and percentages were used to analyze and present the data collected. And from the conclusion drawn from the questionnaire tables, Based on the research conducted by the researcher, revealed that Out-of-home advertising is one of the most important tools for programme marketing. It was recommended that religious organizations should always have clear-cut reasons before embarking on out-of-home advertising in the promotion and marketing of their programmes in Port Harcourt. ...
