Data for the study were gathered from primary and secondary sources. From a population of one hundred and ninety-five thousand, two hundred and sixty-one (195,261), a simple of fifty (50) respondents were drawn. Hypotheses were formulated and tested and the findings among others were that there are sources of finance available to the Kogi State agricultural sector. The government has made it possible to finance the agricultural sector, improve production in the state, and contribute to the country as a whole. It is therefore recommended that: the government should increase the level of awareness and bridge the communication gap.
