The study employed a quantitative research design and data were collected from 100 street teenage youth using a structured questionnaire. The findings showed that the majority of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that street teenage youth in Minna Metropolis are involved in various activities such as loitering, drug trafficking, graffiti and vandalism, truancy and begging. These activities pose a significant security risk to the community, as they are associated with increased crime rates, violence, and a sense of disorder. The study also found that a number of factors contribute to the involvement of teenage youth in street activities, including socioeconomic disadvantage, lack of access to education, peer pressure, lack of positive role models, family instability, and substance abuse.
