The data collection instrument used for the study was the questionnaire method. Quantitative data were processed and analyzed using frequency and percentage tables, Chi-Square tests and charts. A survey research design was adopted for this study. The finding revealed that both teachers and the students agreed that reward and punishment is a way whereby the teachers called the attention of the students while delivering the lesson. Also, the finding revealed that teachers create time for students to ask and answer questions while in the classroom. Also, the finding shows that teachers chat with students in their leisure time. The study concluded that teachers have an important role to play in developing and maintaining other relationships with BSc. (Ed) Biology students. It also concluded that the teachers listen to students when they call their attention to an event happening in the class. However, the study recommends that Head of departments, as well as school authorities, should always conduct further investigation into the problems encountered between the teachers and the students, teachers should try and reinforce their students positively whenever they answer questions correctly or wrongly in the class, as it will encourage them to participate fully.
