Abstract
This study investigated An Appraisal of the Media Campaign on the Naira Redesigning in selected rural areas of Niger State. Chapter one provides a comprehensive foundation, outlining the background, problem statement, objectives, research questions, significance, scope, and definitions. Chapter two critically examines relevant concepts, including media campaigns, economic policy, and the challenges and benefits of Naira redesign. Chapter three details the research design, population, sample size, and data collection methods. Chapter four employs descriptive statistics to analyze findings, revealing a high awareness level among respondents, a predominant reliance on television for information, and positive attitudes towards the redesign. Chapter five offers a concise summary, concluding remarks, and practical recommendations, and suggests avenues for further research, emphasizing the need for measures to address challenges in accessing new Naira notes. The research findings indicate a high level of awareness and participation among the respondents in the recent naira redesign initiative. The study highlights the predominant use of television as a key source of information, emphasizing the importance of effective communication strategies to reach a wide audience. Based on the research findings, these recommendations are made. Authorities should consider implementing measures to alleviate challenges in accessing the new naira notes, such as streamlining distribution channels and addressing issues related to long queues. ...
