In a developing country like Nigeria, there is a perceived cultural imbalance, lukewarm attitude of this generation towards all cultures especially youths is not something to write home about, it has been observed that culture determines the developmental pace of a society because the traditional values of a people are related to the pace with which they accept or reject the demands of socio-economic developments. The culture of every nation is an important aspect of that nation and should be preserved especially by the media which exposes the masses to the activities happening around them. Questionnaire was the instrument for data collection. A total of 100 copies of questionnaires were administered and 96 were retrieved. Results obtained showed that Africa Independent Television is effective in propagating Nigerian culture and Africa Independent Television has a positive impact on sensitization, promoting and educating the citizens on cultural propagation.
