The objective of this research is to find out if drug abuse has increased rate in Nigeria and to find out if the Mass Media is performing its functions in the campaign against drug abuse. A critical review of related literature was made on the subject matter. The study adopted a survey method with a size 133 drawn out of the population of Delta Rainbow Television, Warri staff using percentages to analyze the formulated findings from the questionnaire.
