The specific purposes of the study were to ascertain the resources available for immunization, determine the procedures used in administering immunization and determine the problems encountered by the health workers during the immunization. The design for this study was a descriptive survey. The population was 120 HCW of which 92 were sampled using simple random sampling technique. The instrument for data collection is a 30-item structured questionnaire designed to elicit responses to answer the research questions that guided the study. Three experts validated the instrument in terms of face and content validity while a test re-test was used to establish the reliability coefficient of the instrument which yielded a coefficient of 0.84. The researcher personally collected data for the study and 3 trained research assistants while mean statistics was employed to analyze the data relating to research questions 1-3.
