The aim of this study is to examine the role of accounting information on the quality of management decisions. To determine the relationship between research and accounting information systems in accounting decision making. Methods of data collection were both primary and secondary sources of data collection. Simple percentage ratio was used in analyzing the different answers obtained in the questionnaire. The findings revealed that the accounting information system has assisted management in achieving the desired objective of the institution. There is a relationship between research and accounting information. From the study findings, the researcher recommends that the management put in measures to improve both quantitative and qualitative characteristics of financial statements so that they are easily comparable to other industries. All systems have to be computerized and a modern speed system network should be established so that the information can reach the accounting department on time.
