Abstract
This project was carried out on The Relevance of Marketing Information System in an Organization (A Case Study of Wisdom Bread Plc. Abuja). It had the objectives, among others to ascertain the relevance of Marketing Information System in an organisation. The Adaptive structuration theory (AST) was used as a theoretical backing for the study and empirical reviews were explored to give further depth to the study. The population used for this research work comprised the Wisdom Bread Plc, Kubwa, Abuja staff. Using simple random sampling, a sample size of 24 was drawn to which questionnaires were distributed. Simple percentages were used to analyse the data and chi-square was used to test the hypothesis. The research conducted showed that Marketing Information System has a great impact on sales volume performance, Marketing Information System has contributed to the organization goal, Marketing Information System sometimes embarks on corporate responsibility that stimulate economic development in their host community, it improves better performance when receiving vital information about their product in an organization and if a firm is able to understand Marketing Information System it will help such firm in achieving its set goals in relation to the consumer. The research concluded by saying that with the availability of various means of marketing information, the choice of the most suitable one depends on the efficiency of the means and the ability of the organization to acquire and maintain such means. It, however, recommended among others that any given firm, whether small or large, should use a marketing information system....
