Abstract
The current research study was carried out to assess the marketing strategies as a panacea for achieving competitive advantage in the telecommunication industry with reference to Airtel Network Limited, Jalingo. In this study, a survey research design was adopted. The population of this study was carved out of the entire workforce in Airtel Network Limited Jalingo. Hence primary method of data collection was used where a sample of 60 closed-ended questionnaires was prepared and administered to the respondents in the case study which were selected using the five-point Likert scale.  From the findings, the study concludes that implementing well-crafted marketing strategies significantly enhances the competitive advantage of telecommunication companies. Airtel Network Limited in Jalingo has successfully leveraged product innovation, customer-oriented services, and strategic pricing to maintain and grow its market share. These strategies have proven essential in differentiating Airtel from its competitors, leading to sustained business growth and customer loyalty. Based on the conclusion, the study recommends that Airtel Network Limited should continue investing in market research to stay ahead of consumer trends and preferences. Airtel Network Limited should also enhance its digital marketing efforts and explore partnerships with local businesses to expand its market reach. Lastly, Airtel Network Limited's continuous training for the sales and marketing teams is recommended to keep up with industry developments and customer engagement techniques....
