Abstract
A field experiment was conducted to determine the effect of soil salinity on the growth and yield of Okra, treated with different levels of salinity. The experiment was conducted for about a week at the Department of Agricultural Technology. Data on the different parameters were collected at ten-day intervals for four consecutive weeks and were further subjected to statistical analysis. The results show that the application of 60 by 1m salinity produces the best growth and yield of okra than salinity of 50 by 1m, and 40 by 30cm. The use of planting space of 60 by 50 cm is essential in increasing the yield and growth of okra. In respect to my findings, 60 by 50 cm spacing is the most suitable for planting okra....
