This research presents the design and implementation of a Cooperative Management System for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, North Central Staff Multi-purpose Co-operative Society (FRCNNCSMCS). The aim was to develop a robust digital solution that enhances the management of member data, contributions, loans, and transactions, while minimizing the inefficiencies inherent in the existing manual system. A structured methodology was adopted for the project, beginning with requirement gathering and analysis through interviews, document reviews, and stakeholder interactions. The system design phase followed, utilizing Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools such as data flow diagrams, class diagrams, and Entity Relationship Diagrams to illustrate the architecture and flow of operations. The system was implemented using PHP for server-side scripting, MySQL for database management, and HTML/CSS with JavaScript for front-end development. Thorough system testing, including unit and integration tests, was conducted to validate performance, usability, and reliability. The results indicated a significant improvement in cooperative operations. Users could efficiently manage loan applications, generate real-time financial reports, and access their accounts securely through a role-based authentication system. The developed system not only meets the operational requirements of FRCNNCSMCS but also provides a scalable model for other cooperative societies seeking to modernize their processes.
