The Study adopted an expositional-factor research design. The population of the study consists of all listed consumer goods companies in Nigeria, while a filtering technique was used to derive only five listed consumer goods companies to represent the sample size. During the study, Secondary data was collected from the annual reports of the 5 selected Consumer Goods Companies that are listed on the NSE from 2018-2022, the data was analyzed using SPSS version 16. After analysis and interpretation was carried out, the summary of the study outcome reveals that, Charitable donation disclosure shows negative and not significant effect on the ROA while Community involvement disclosure has negative but significant effect on the ROA of the listed Consumer Goods Companies in Nigeria, however, Environmental Disclosures has positive and significant effect on the ROA of the listed Consumer Goods Companies in Nigeria. Based on the findings, the study concludes that CSR disclosures have a significant effect on the ROA of Consumer goods firms in Nigeria.
