Abstract
This study examined the influence of pricing strategy on organizational profitability. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the everyday low pricing strategy has been adopted by the Nigerian Bottling Company. Pricing schemes and pricing penetration were determinable variables to determine the extent to which pricing strategies enhance performance. The research made use of 150 staff members of the company. Yaro Yamane's sampling techniques were adopted to arrive at the sample size of 50. The instruments used in data collection were questionnaires. Regression and correlation results indicated that there was a statistically significant and positive relationship between pricing skimming and pricing penetration. The results revealed that pricing schemes have a positive effect on the profitability of Nigerian Bottling Company. The study recommends that organizations put in place measures to assess the most effective pricing strategy to reduce product costs, and this increases profitability whenever such a strategy is used....
