Abstract
This research is designed to look into negotiation strategies on organizational performance (A case Seven Up Bottling Company Plc, Ilorin Plant). The potential implication of creativity upon negotiation remains to date ill researched. The aim of this study is to fill this gap by examining whether creative negotiators are able to achieve more successful outcomes in a negotiation context with integrative potential. As such, we want to contribute to the unlocking of the‘black box’ of bargaining behaviours. Data will be obtained from the staff of an international tobacco company. This negotiation led to economic and relational negotiation outcomes. The use of creative skills by negotiators was hypothesized to positively affect both classes of negotiation outcomes. The research work is aimed of controlling the organization''s production and providing solutions to the problems of effective negotiation in the organization. In order to make this work while, the research work is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is mainly based on introduction, background of the case study, statement of research problem, objective of the research, significance of the study, scope of the study/limitation of the study, research question, formulation of research hypothesis, historical background and definition of terms. Chapter two will focus on the literature review, conceptual framework, theoretical review, empirical review and gap in literature. Chapter three deals with research methodology, introduction, research methodology, sources of data collection tools, research population techniques used in data analysis. Chapter four deals with presentation and analysis of data and hypothesis testing. Finally, chapter five will be based on the summary of findings, conclusion, and recommendations.
