Among the objectives of the Study was to investigate social factors on the acceptance of immunization and prevention of childhood eye diseases, and to assess cultural Factors on the acceptance of immunization and prevention of childhood eye diseases, and also to find out mothers' awareness on the importance of childhood immunization in Hotoron Mahauta, Nassarawa local government of Kano state. A Descriptive Non-Experimental Survey Design was used and a Convenient Non-probability Random Sampling Technique was used to select 40 mothers out of the 199 Target Population. The instrument used was a structured Questionnaire, and the data collected was analyzed using Frequency and Percentage Distribution Tables. The result reveals that 33 (84.6%) of the respondents encourage the acceptance of childhood immunization, 34 (87.1%) say their Religion does not stop them from accepting immunization, and 36 (92.3%) of the respondents are aware of immunization. The Research also concluded that Effective strategies and awareness will contribute a great deal in promoting and acceptance of immunization in the Communities. Thus, the following recommendation was made. The Public Health Department of the Ministry of Health should ensure and supply major distribution of Vitamin A, and other received supplements to Children between the ages of 0-5 years for the promotion of eye health and prevent them from vaccine preventable diseases.
