Four research questions were asked to carry out the study. Literature pertinent to the study was reviewed. The method of research design was a descriptive research design. The target population of the study was 105 and the convenience sampling technique was used, as the whole population was used as the sample. The instrument for data collection was a structured type of questionnaire that contained 20 questionnaire items. The questionnaire was designed and distributed by the researcher. The data was also organized and analyzed by the researcher according to the questions. Some of the findings of the study were The final year CHEW and JCHEW have good knowledge about self-medication. There is a high practice of self-medication among final year CHEW and JCHEW. The most commonly used drugs in this practice are paracetamol. There is a high prevalence of self-medication among students.
