The researcher is able to use both primary and secondary sources of data collection. The study is able to reveal in my findings that the local government in Gassol efficiently allocates budget to build and maintain school facilities (education). Hence primary method of data collection was used where a sample of 223 closed-ended questionnaires was prepared and administered to the respondents in the case study,y that were selected using the five-point Likert scale. From the findings, the study reveals that proper financial planning by the local council leads to improvements in our community’s healthcare services (e.g. clinic supplies, staffing). The local government’s construction and maintenance of roads have made it easier for students to reach schools and for farmers to bring goods to market. The local government has renovated school buildings and provided educational resources, improving learning opportunities for students. Local government regularly consults community members when planning and improving educational programs and facilities. Based on the conclusion, the study recommends that local government authorities should improve their financial management practices by implementing stricter financial accountability measures, such as periodic audits and transparent budgeting processes, to ensure that funds allocated for community development projects are effectively utilized.
