The existing manual identification methods were found to be inefficient, time-consuming, and prone to errors, unauthorized access, and forgery. To address these challenges, the system was modeled using the Object-Oriented Design Methodology (OODM), supported by use case diagrams, class diagrams, and flowcharts to ensure modularity and scalability. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and institutional records, complemented by relevant literature to identify system requirements and user expectations. The system integrates RFID-enabled student ID cards with a centralized database to enable secure and real-time access to student records. Key functionalities include automated student verification, attendance logging, encryption for improved security, multi-departmental integration, and report generation. The system was implemented using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and deployed on a local server with provisions for future cloud migration. Evaluation of the system revealed significant improvements in efficiency, security, and user satisfaction, while reducing administrative workload and operational costs. The findings of this study indicate that the RFID-based system provides a sustainable, reliable, and technologically advanced alternative to manual methods of student authentication and information management.
