This study was aimed at determining the incidence of ocular injuries among patients aged 2-10 years attending the Eye Clinic in Civil Service Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State. The target populations were children aged 2-10 years, who attended the Eye Clinic in Civil Service Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State, between January, 2019 and December, 2023. A checklist consisting of relevant data was used. Data was analyzed using tables such as frequency tables and inferential statistics with the use of chi-square. The findings revealed that the highest incidence of ocular injuries, 47(23.5%), was recorded in the year 2020 and the least, 3(18.7%) was recorded in the year 2021. Sand, dust, or wood particles, and metal particles were the highest causing agents of ocular injury. The study revealed that there is a significant difference between the age of patients aged 2-10 years and the incidence of ocular injuries in the Eye Clinic of Civil Service Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State.
