The objective of the study were to identify the various types of contraceptive use, to identify the factors that influence contraceptive use, and to identify strategies to improve contraceptive use among women of reproductive age attending Family Planning Clinic at Children Specialist Hospital. Quantitative research design using a cross-sectional descriptive method was used for the study. A sample size of 89 respondents were used for the study, which was calculated from the target population of 520 using Fisher's formula. A self-structured questionnaire was used to collect data from the respondents and data were analyzed using SPSS 26. Result shows that (89%) of women have used a contraceptive method before, and about (25%) used a condom as their contraceptive method. Also (58%) of them used the contraceptive method for a year. (84%) are also satisfied with the current contraceptive method. Furthermore (52%) of the respondents said that fear of Side effects (58%) Fear of stigmatization (45%) Contraceptive is only for married couples (45%) lack of partner's consent influences contraceptive use among women of reproductive age.
