A case study of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. Descriptive survey research design was used to carry out the research. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the respondents for the study. One hundred (100) students (both NCE and Degree) were selected from Economics Department in the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. The data collected from the respondents was analyzed using statistical tools of tables, charts, mean score and standard deviation and t-test to test the hypothesis of the study. From the findings of this study, it was deduced that there is teaching and learning of economic education in Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo and that there are qualified lecturers who teach economics as well as there are adequate instructional materials, methods and proper lecture presentations being used to support the teaching and learning of economics education in Adeyemi federal University of Education, Ondo. Also, the findings of the study revealed that economic education makes students feel more confident in managing their personal finances and that economic education influences students’ budgeting and financial planning habits. Furthermore, the findings of the study revealed that insufficient time allocated in the curriculum affects the teaching and learning of economic education as insufficient teaching materials affect the teaching and learning of economic education.
