Traditionally, traffic offence documentation has been manual and fragmented, leading to issues such as data loss, delayed processing, poor offender tracking, and financial inconsistencies. The methodology adopted for this project is the Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) combined with an Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach. This system addresses these limitations by centralizing traffic offence data, ensuring that every offence committed is accurately recorded and stored in a secure and scalable database. It also enables real-time retrieval of offender history, calculation of fines based on offence type, and validation of payment status, thereby reducing the risk of financial fraud and administrative errors. The system was developed using a combination of PHP and AJAX for the server-side and asynchronous communication, Python for data processing and backend logic where applicable, and MySQL for relational database management. It features a user-friendly interface that allows authorized personnel to input, search, and update records efficiently. Additionally, the platform supports basic analytics and reporting functionalities to aid in decision-making and policy enforcement.
