Abstract
Reward systems continue to be a major problem resulting to divined employees’ performance due to a lack of incentive packages, an ineffective system of wages and salaries and low attention to fringe benefits. The main purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the reward system on employees’ productivity in the Federal Polytechnic, Bali. The study adopted a survey research design. The population of this study consists of the entire staff and employees in the Federal Polytechnic, Bali. According to the Academic policy (2023), the total number of office managers is 1,116 employees only. The researcher used a random sampling technique to sample 100 employees’ only out of the 1,116 employees in the Federal Polytechnic, Bali. The data collected will be analyzed using the arithmetic mean and data will be presented in a tabular form. The findings of the study reveal that increase in salaries has a significant impact on employee productivity in Federal Polytechnic Bali, Taraba state, staff appreciation has a significant impact on employees’ productivity in Federal Polytechnic, Bali, Taraba state and bonus has a significant impact on employees’ productivity in Federal Polytechnic, Bali, Taraba state. The study concludes that Federal Polytechnic, Bali should reward its employees handsomely, most especially when they discharge their duties professionally. Based on the findings, the study recommends that Federal Polytechnic, Bali, should reward their staff well in order to encourage them to put more effort towards accomplishing productivity.
