One major hypothesis and three sub-hypotheses were tested. Descriptive survey research design was used for this study. The total population for the study is 2,648,400, which comprises all the residents in the metropolitan LGAs of Kastina State. A sample of 500 respondents was selected as the sample size of the study using a multi-stage sampling technique. The data collection instrument for this study was a self-developed questionnaire named. The researcher’s supervisor validated the questionnaire. To ascertain the reliability of the instrument, a split-half test was conducted by the researcher using 20 respondents from Kazaure Local Government Area of Jigawa State and a reliability index of 0.73 was obtained. Five hundred (500) copies of questionnaires were administered and four hundred and eighty-two (482) copies were duly filled and returned for data analysis. The demographic information of the respondents was presented as frequency counts and percentages. Chi-Square Test was used to analyze hypotheses one, two and three at the 0.05 level of significance.
