A total of two hundred (200) urine samples were collected randomly using the method of urine sample collection for microscopic study to determine the presence of urinary schistosoma heatobium. Out of 200 urine samples analyzed, 20 (10%) were infected with schistosoma heamatobium, and 180 (90%) were non- infected with schistosoma heamatobium. Due to discovering from this project research, the following recommendations should be considered by those who may be concerned in order to eradicate schistosomiasis in Nigeria, Africa and worldwide. Government should train medical staff, initiate workshops in order to update the staff in charge of urinary and intestinal schistosomiasis on the challenges, prevention, control measures, and prompt treatment of active cases.
