The objectives of the study were to identify entrepreneurial opportunities available to Secretarial students through IT, examine challenges faced in utilizing IT for entrepreneurial purposes, proffer solutions to these challenges, and highlight the effects of IT on entrepreneurship opportunities. A descriptive research design was used, and data were collected through questionnaires administered to 90 respondents. The findings revealed that IT provides various entrepreneurial opportunities, including e-learning, virtual assistance, and online transcription. However, students face challenges such as inadequate IT infrastructure and limited internet access. The study recommends the provision of adequate IT infrastructure, IT skills training, industry partnerships, and curriculum review to empower Secretarial students to leverage IT for entrepreneurial success.
