The objective of this study is to compile a bibliography on elections in Kogi State, to examine the role of elections, the benefits of compiling a bibliography and to examine the challenges of elections and compiling a bibliography in Kogi State. One hundred and eighty-five (185) entries were compiled on elections in Kogi State. The study revealed that the compilation of a bibliography on elections in Kogi State is a critical endeavor that consolidates existing knowledge and provides a structured reference for future research. It highlights the complexities of the electoral process in the state, the recurring challenges, and the need for ongoing reforms. The study recommends that the government should enhance access to academic databases, libraries, and digital repositories to facilitate comprehensive research on elections in Kogi State. Encourage the digitization of relevant documents and publications for easier access and preservation.
