The objective of the study is to examine whether the reward system has a positive impact on organizational productivity and to investigate if reward system can be used to retain organizational staff. The researcher used a survey method of research design; primary and secondary data were used, which included the use of questionnaires for data collection. The population of the study comprises the management and staff of the organization under study, which is 60, and the sample size of 52 was determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. The chi-square method was used to test the statement of hypothesis earlier formulated. On this note, the findings revealed that reward has positive impact on employees’ performance and the rewards system can be used to retain the organization's staff. To this end, it was recommended that the management should keep on giving incentives at the appropriate time and not delay them in order not to lessen the goal of the incentives.
