The objectives of this study is to whether dividend policy has positive effect on shareholders wealth maximization in deposit money banks and whether dividend policy can enhance the growth of Nigeria Deposit money banks. The study adopted a survey research design method. The analysis was done with the use of secondary data; regression analysis was used to test the variables. The findings reveal that a consistent and predictable dividend payout can be seen as a sign of financial stability and confidence in the company''s future prospects, thereby enhancing the bank''s reputation among investors and regular dividend payments provide shareholders with a predictable and steady income stream. The researcher recommends that Banks should adopt dividend policies that are clear, stable, and communicated effectively to investors to reduce uncertainty and speculation in the market. Ensure that while dividends are paid to reward shareholders, a reasonable portion of profits is retained to fund future investments, innovation, and capital adequacy.
