The main objective was to examine the various types of library facilities that can be used by students, to examine some of the attitudes of students towards the use of library facilities and to examine the effect of student attitudes towards the use of library facilities. Data for the work were collected from both primary and secondary sources. From a population of 1065, a sample size of 100 respondents was used. The research design employed was a survey method with the use of questionnaires. Simple tables and percentages were used for data analysis. The results revealed that student attitudes towards the use of library facilities can either be positive or negative. Positive attitudes contribute to academic success, while negative attitudes result in underutilization of resources. It was concluded that student attitudes toward the use of library facilities can affect academic library use. The study recommends that user (student education program should be maintained in the library for both old and new students. They should be oriented on how to use the library resources/library.
